Anyone got a Nokia N82 phone?
« on: June 24, 2008, 08:45:55 PM »
Hi,

I just got a Nokia N82 mobile phone. Great multimedia tool.

I need your help to do a test: I have a danish website www.folketidende.dk , that I want to watch in the phones internet browser - but I cant see it. Its the only site, that the phone wont load. All other sites are ok.

If you got a N82 phone - could you please try and see if you can see the site in your phone? I have to find out whether there is something wrong with my phone, my mobile phone company or something in the coding of www.folketidende.dk that makes it not readable at a N82 phone?

Thx

best

That is a pretty big site to be loading into a phone.

My SCH-I760 can't load it with IE, but loads is okay with SkyFire.

All you need is Time, Aptitude and Desire ... and you can build just about anything...

Hi Søren

www.folketidende.dk loads fine on my Nokia 6110 Navigator - but its a very large page - nearly 1 MB.

Best regards,

Henrik

I loaded www.folketidende.dk successfully with my N82 using Opera Mini.

It wasn't so successful using the N82 built-in browser... It worked but didn't look too good.

Hi and thx for the testing. Mission is completed. Now I know that its the N82 in built browser that sucks. I downloaded the operamini - and now I can load the page.

Glad to be able to help! Opera Mini is great, been using it on lots of different phones.
