"Extreme Weather Instruments"
at the Eastern US Weather Forums Conference in Washington, DC.
Can any of you suggest places on the Internet and/or books that would have vivid photos, maps and other images to help depict
highest elevation weather instruments/weather station
lowest
windiest
driest
hottest
coldest
most remote and difficult to install
hit by strongest storms
also, am looking for info on intriguing homemade instruments/weather stations,
oldest in continuous use
in "secret" locations such as Pentagon, CIA
