I just discovered this!
1) Select View the Program control, current programs in zonealarm (double click zonealarms icon in the system tray to bring it up)
2) Select weather display.exe
3) Right mouse click
4) Left mouse click on changes frequently
5) Repeat from (2) for ftpupd.exe
No more problems with the firewall and new realeases of Weather Display!
