Using WD CWOP RF rebroadcast feature
« on: March 09, 2008, 09:58:35 PM »
Is anyone else (with a ham callsign) using the option in WD with the CWOP GUI that allows one to have your observation broadcast on RF from the APRS IS server by using a validation number? I have been since I started using WD but it apparently is not working anymore. I recently upgraded to v1031i. It seems to be sending the validation number OK as per the log file. A ham operator wrote to me that he no longer is getting it and it seems to have stopped after the upgrade. It may be a CWOP issue but I need to know if others are using one of the later versions of WD and still getting their data rebroadcast. I forget to how to verify that it is... :(

Actually I think it may be the server I had designated. I was using the cwop only but have switched to the core servers now. Will have to wait and see.

Thanks Jim. I had the wrong server designated in the setup and all is working again. :)
