I did show up in the end. I'm not sure exactly when but I left the site open while I was doing other things and when I went back about 30 minute later I was showing on the map, not my island is on the map.

I am not sure what the problem is. Can not point to any one thing. It has been just about 24 hours since mine has shown up. I am referring to the the blue circle with the WX in it. :?

I had to leave that map up for about 30 minutes as well, before my station appeared. Congestion appears to be the problem.

I left the map up for almost 4 hours and mine still did not appear on the map. This is getting frustrating that is for sure.

Hi Guys,

You should not show up on the http://www.aprs-is.net/javalive.htm when you move over to the cwop.aprs.net addresses. The Java Page is for APRS-IS data and traffic. The cwop.aprs.net is moving cwop to its own system for better performance. Best place to check is at http://www.findu.com/cgi-bin/wxpage.cgi?CW####(your number).

Hi Jim,

Welcome to the forum and thanks for the info.
It's no great loss to myself as I didn't even know the Javalive page was there until Chuck pointed it out.  I know about the other two though and they work for me.
I take it we're still showing on the javalive as the cwop-aprs.net is still being implemented at the moment as my station was on there last night, as I said earlier?

Jim,

So the reason mine is not showing up is because I am using the new cwop.aprs.net or am I wrong. The data is being uploaded fine but WX station marker is not showing up.

Thanks,
Chuck

The way I understand it, only the radio traffic will show up on the javalive page. If you are just CWOP and not also ham with a call sign, you will not have a marker on that page. You can check your traffic via the findu page. For a detailed packet report use the "Raw APRS data" link on that page.
