I just finished loading the iousbfamily3003.4.5log.dmg on my Leopard system running 105.1. It was simple and there were no problems.
1. Download the files from Apple, in my case iousbfamily3003.4.5log.dmg was what I needed
2. Double clicked on the DMG file after it finished downloading. I selected the package which also added logging
3. Typed in my admin password and the install started. It took a minute or so and finished with a message to reboot.
4. Rebooted and the system came up immediately without any problems.
