Hi Brian. I suppose you could say this is a 'known issue'. It's because there isn't space to fit everything and I haven't included any intelligence/validation to only allow certain combinations of selections in the options screen.
It's on my list of things to sort out... if I have time... :-)

Unfortunately not. Not on the small widget anyway. It looks like there should be space to squash things up a bit, but in the layout.xml file that defines where the blocks of text go, there is no padding or border space, so I think Android must automatically create space around the text blocks.

what if you had it on the last line, where the date/time is?

I guess it could go there. But then I find it useful to see the last update date/time to check the data is up to date.
I could make the last line configurable. But there isn't really an end to the configuration I could allow and there are so many data items I could show on the widget and make them all configurable. Hopefully it's got the main ones that most people want.  A few months ago I was adding things as people suggested them, and it was a lot of work and time. These days I'd rather wait and see if a whole bunch of people are asking for the same feature before implementing it. Recently I've noticed I get people emailing me asking for this feature or that feature, but everyones feature seems to be unique. Like yesterday somebody was asking if I could show rainfall for the past month, or the past day. Yes, I probably could get this working, but it would be a fair bit of effort, and no-one else has asked for it.

Sorry to ramble on like this, I just wanted to explain properly. I guess the widget is in a 'maintenance phase' at the moment, as I haven't got time to work on it much at the moment.
