I just needed to uninstall the old driver, restart and install new driver. Now im running latest version (6.5)

I had that same problem again recently when trying to update from v6.4 to v6.5.
I don't know why it is such a faff and it is more annoying that the SiLabs driver installer reports the update is successful when it isn't - caught me out big time as you can see in that thread link.
