Florini - this site is rather particular when it comes to searches - it Searches from where you are at that moment - in a thread - just that thread, in a forum - just that forum, hit "Home" and see the whole set of menu forums then it will search the whole site...

If you use WU, then make sure the size of pic you send is no larger than 320 x 240 - for my one, which is a 640 x 480, it gets shrunk and becomes very coarse and blotchy :-

Otherwise you can visit my site and see the ones I have made at home - under my webcam pic - they are 30 min spans for the whole day - quite disjointed, and 1 min for short one, and they use gifs to keep the size down but which creates some color aberration (256 colours only).  These are done with Weather Display software that runs my weather station from here...

hello from Durban South Africa

busy setting up a webcam to document a building site (see picture). Just bought an Olympus SP-350, and want to use cam2com software from Sabsik. The Milwaukee weather site http://itsyourweather.com/cam.html is stunning, that is exactly what I would like to do. Getting a bit lost though with the script and or batch files to get the system to run automatically. The time lapse feature is also challenging. Already trying to contact Darell.

any suggestions for software sites? any free samples of script files? many regards, from Florian

Hello Florianl,

I have the same SP-350 and works a treat, I've documented my setup @ http://members.iinet.net.au/~kevinbruton/thisstation.html with links to software pages.

I've also posted a few scripts in this thread I use to move files around http://www.weather-watch.com/smf/index.php/topic,21797.180.html

If you need any other config files, just holla and I'll add them to my web page so should save you a few hours if you decide on the same software I'm using.

IME it's better to use Advanced Search, and select the "most recent topic" sort order.
