Has it ever worked for you in Vista.  I know there is a problem with the cscript file executing in Vista 64 - not sure if it is also with 32.  Brian may have to answer that.

Will have to wait for Brian to weigh in...   I know it works with the swf file creation.  I went back to XP and built a 2nd machine for WD cause I could not solve this issue and maybe Boltek drivers...  I maintain a WD installation on my Vista 64 Quad Core machine just waiting for this to be solutioned..

To be honest i think XP might be the best option, I will have to download
a copy from MS, will only take minutes on my connection :)

I have just moved WD to a new PC with VISTA.  Searching for that problem that pops up, Microsoft Console Based Script has stopped working, I found a hot fix that seems to fix the problem of, Can't Encode WMA in Vista via Command Line.

Vista and WD have been running for a few hours together quite happly now and producing the WMA movies for 10 minute, hour and all day without a problem.

Looks like "The Fix" actually did fix something.
