Hi
I ave just noticed that webcam capture is not saving the time stamp on the image.I have rebooted and restarted WD. It was previously working on vista and i am using the lastest version 10.37d.
Also is there any new version of web capture which will stop vista going into basic mode
Andy

I have already set WD and Webcam to XP SP2 compatibility and run as admin. Only in the last day or so has the time disappeared on webcam image and vista always goes in to basic mode when webcam capture is run

what do you mean by vista basic mode?
re time...try/check that there is at least a character in the line input/text area for the overlay setup

Vista basic graphics mode, ie no aero glass or windows dream scenes. As soon as i close webcam capture, vista back to normal graphics.

Brian - this was a problem I identified early on, but about 3 months ago webcam capture program stopped sending Vista into basic mode. I run capture 24/7 and am always in Aero video. Can't explain what I did if anything...

I have also managed to fix the time stamp, i appears to have dissappeared off the side of the image. I can understand why this should have happened as I have been running this for 5 months and not made any changes
