Problem with shutting down PC
« on: July 10, 2003, 06:16:08 AM »
If I need to shut down my PC, I close WD in the conventional way, by using "save and exit". Weather Display saves with the progress bar indication and then is removed from the taskbar at the bottom of the screen.

All is well it appears, but when I ask the PC to close down, it says that it cannot close because of WeatherD.exe is still running, and by pressing the "close anyway" will lose data.

Anyway, I press this option, and restart my PC. WD starts up again, but find yet again that the minimum soil temperature is missing on the "view web page". I look under program error log, and the log is reporting errors similar to what I reported and placed in the Bugs section.

Is this something to aid you with my other problem I reported - see under "Bugs" about the program error log
Cheers,

Andy
