WD, Vantage Pro II and ubuntu

Hi,

I have a Davis Vantage Pro II USB station and a ubuntu 6.0.6 LAMP server. I have a license for WD and its plug-in WD-Live plug-in.

I’m wondering a bit what my options are using these pieces:

If I install WD in ubuntu and succeeds in having it up and running via the usb port, can I also use WD-Live with it so users connecting to my ubuntu server will see cool flash pages or is the Live add-on only working with WD for windows?

If the ‘local’ ubuntu server isn’t connected to the internet, may I ftp over the html / flash files to a public server at regular intervals?

Finally does it exist any success stories on using WD for linux with Vantage PRO II USB under ubuntu…? If not I’m interested in writing a how-to article if I get this up and running…

Sorry for the basic questions but I need to get the basic understanding of WD’s possibilities…

regards
