I have a an IP cam Vivotek 6124 and i am very happy with it.

I think they look great but at £200 (UK)  8O for the basic one and close to £500 (UK)  8O for the one you suggest I would expect them to make the tea as well :wink:

I can't really see IR, but there is definitely a glow. The place I wanted to put them is a dark corner and the glow was definitely noticeable. Perhaps they're using cheaper LEDs that are mainly IR, but also have a visible red component?


It's using 850 nm led's, that's on the edge of visible red, regular remote control mostly uses 940 nm.
