Brian,

Are you saying to have rapidfire and normal switches both set to on.

if you want the wunderground database correct, then dont have the swap speed/gust
that will mean the flash data will show gust/speed the wrong way way around

if you can live with that, then at least the database will be updated OK

it would be good if wunderground could fix the problem on there end

I don't have it ticked because it does mess it up. I only have gust since last sent ticked. So only have the rapidfire set to on not the main switch for wunderground like I have it right now.

note, as i previoulsy posted, you could keep the data base looking better by keeping regular normal wunderground uploads going.....and then set the real time to swap the gust/average
that might work....

Brian,

From what I can tell if rapidfire is running the normal uploads to work even though my ftp logs says it did. Will keep you updated.

I only have gust since last sent ticked. It's what works for me the best. My gusts are pretty much always higher than my average with that only box ticked.

I have neither box ticked (swap or gust since) and use a 5 second update.  I don't track the data that close on WU so I don't know if I need to tick the gust since or not.  But the graph shows my gust speeds over the average so I haven't messed with making any changes.
