AJAX Weather Question
« on: July 12, 2006, 11:25:55 PM »
I've been looking at the AJAX pages that Pinto (?) has put up available
for download. Is there a download of a template like Tom @ Carterlake.org available?

Thanks in advance,
Tony

I think it's where your client raw files are located...

And don't forget editing the location in the clrextra.js

ah, ok,,,,that looks like it done it....check out that page now....you can see the temperature over the top of other words.....so that part is working, just a coding issue now..
i will need to have the html be in the same folder as the clientraw file then.....

temperature,windspeed,direction, rain,baro...
working...as a test....but has to be where the clientraw file is located....
i could shift that....but will have to change MML...

cool bananas  :D
working great....by just using a separate page...linked from my main page....
i.e
http://www.weather-display.com/windy/wx2.html
linked from
http://www.weather-display.com/windy/grahhamsbeach.htm
which i have set wd to create and upload as ewll, but upload to the directory above (using .. )
lets see how that all works :)

one problem is, the ajax data is creating a line return??

I'm having a bit of a problem with my ajax page in Internet Exploder, works fine in Firefox though.

http://www.loganvillageweather.com/index.php includes the following file http://www.loganvillageweather.com/ajaxweather.php where all the ajax stuff is.

IE displays all but the actual readings, whereas Firefox displays the lot as expect, and this is on 3 different computers.

edit: when the second link is loaded by itself, it works fine, but when it is included in the index.php it does not work.

Sorry, I meant to add that the actual include file works when loaded by itself, but won't work when included in another page.

<body background="../white" style="margin-top:0;margin-left:0;margin-right:0;margin-bottom:0;">

put that line after the
<body onload="JavaScript: ajaxLoader('clientraw.txt?'+new Date());" >
try that
