question though, you did use the action, convert wd logfiles to data files, and select the 72008lg.txt and then click on convert?

I can see july 31 under View averages/extremes.
All looks ok in Wd, but then i checked my homepage and found gif files from may..

i manged to use the wunderground csv data import to get warwickpaweather's july data back
(and I found and fixed a problem with that import routine)
and I have emailed him those july data and logfiles

windy, it didnt do august at all, pc crashed about the time of the midnight update, (00.07) got up this morning no WD running just windows with suffered serious error messgae.

Did recreate av/ex for august, and uploaded but wrong, its showing jul 31st rain at bottom of page, we did get 2mm of rain yesterday so thats right and rain totals still wrong showing 567.4 mm for year when should be 590.6 mm July started with 567.9 mm when June endeded with 476.1 mm for year and increase of 89 odd mm August started with 567.mm ?? WD says yearly total is 592.1 mm.

Recreate for july has worked now got july 31st, only thing wrong is rain total for year as above, hope all this makes sense, http://www.newquayweather.com/wxhistory.php  best way check June year rain total end of month then july and august year rain totals and you will see what I mean

To add to my last post above, Aug now correct apart from starting rain for year total wrong for july and aug.

Another thing now on http://www.newquayweather.com/wxtrends.php have got this  -50C and plus 50 c plus all  year have high/lows reset to data from aug 2nd

is there away to find previous highs / lows without having to go through 14 months of records.

Replying to your email brian.

Just checked view>rain to date chart correct uptill  june where rain chart says we had 112 mm for month , we had 22.8mm so thats where the 89mm extra comes from, the daily reports page for june is correct with 22.8 and the yearly total is correct as well, rain to date chart says July  0 mm we had 112mm once again daily report page has it right.

how do I correct this, I dont want to go any blunder in a mess things up.  Do I just select June on month to correct then enter correct figure in maual box and update ?

Will then have to look at the other year totals ref last post, get one thing right at a time

yes (make sure to not enter units those, just the value (mm)

is there away to find previous highs / lows without having to go through 14 months of records.

if you use the view year to date under view, averages/extremes, that will show the extremes there...thats one way...

hi brian,
now I know what went wrong yesterday. during the repeated converting/recreating of the july2008-file suddenly august had 30 days (from 2nd to 31st), but I didnīt take notice. today, a few minutes after midnight, the recreated  july-file had also 30 days from 2nd to 31st.
then i realized the mistake in aug., fixed the bug, then fixed the bug of july by conv/recr and now my july-file is ok!

Thanks Brian, have altered rain totals, waiting for update to check, tomorrow will look at all the other data highs/lows that are wrong.

Going to stop up for day update after midnight just incase it crashes again.

Stayed up and watched change, rain ok now but all the records for year (the ones I corrected) have changed back to 2nd august http://www.newquayweather.com/wxtrends.php and the warmest / coldest days are back to 50c 

off to bed, been along day
