Com Port Problem

Hello!

Since yesterday 9:00 pm the com port will not free as the setting time,
and also when i check "release Com Port for 5 minutes"  it works but then after this 5 minutes wd will not work again.
Also the ftp upload doesnt work and the language from the forecast text in the main screen was switches from german to english...
The Programm was not chrashed.
The error log has many entries. sice this tiem.. such as adress violation.

Before there was no problem with this and i have not change the configuration in this time. I have reinstalled wd (10.30z) and upgraded the version to 10.31f but no effect.
Other programs such as WheaterLink an PC Weather-Station has no problem with the com port.

instead of using 10.30z use the latest version
which will fix the forecast text problem
if the errors keep occuring each minute (which then is stopping things from happening) try running the debug version which will produce a detailed error report which you can post here

I have tried tha 10.31f and same errors (forecast text switched and comport Problem and no ftp upload)

I have installed debug version 10.31c: Now errors stopped, com port problem seems fixed, but still no ftp upload
e. a. summary gif in "advanced internet settings": automatic all 5 minutes create and upload. Automatic not works but when i clicked "now" then works für this one.

thank you your help!
wd debug version and later actual version funktion with no error about 2 days. suddenly still 03:00 a.m. the minutely error is back with both version (no comport free, no ftp upload). i have send debug report over smpt 3 times about 08:15 MEZ a. m.
and addionaly here now per email the setting files.

My idea: My errors looks like the same as the threat http://www.weather-watch.com/smf/index.php/topic,13330.0.html
"access violation" ??
My weather condition are snow and rain changing! And i habe also wd-live in use. The last two days who wd works fine there was constantly temperatures under 0 °C.

for the 3am error
make sure under help, about, you dont have ticked to free the memory?

in the customise internet and file creation setup, you have ticked to use these remote dirs
but the remote directory you have set is the same as the remote directory you have already set in the connections setup, so need to have that ticked
i also see you have ticked, do not upload at night time, in the web upload times in the ftp/internet setup
did you mean to have that ticked?

also i see you have set to upload the fire weather index files via the general ftp
because you are using the customise internet and file creation setup, you can set the times to create and upload the fwi files there

thank you i have ticked "memory free" now but normaly i shut down my pc daily at 00:10 a.m.
i have also ticked the other options  "customise internet and file creation setup".

first thank you for prompt answers!
note, always when the error occurs (wd start, the first enough minute the first error occurs see error log, every hole minute again...):
- com port free settings ignore
- manually com port free (5 minute feature klicked): vom port now free but not refunktion after the 5 minute time
- summary.gif not created (also now with the new settings!). But manualy by klicking: then it was create!
=> for me not explanationable: there are times that wd runs
          - all ok (summary gif create and upload), comm port ok, no error log)
          - summary gif create but no upload, comm port ok, no error log)
          - summary gif not create, not upload, comm port not ok, error log)  => now this is in this time

additional info: the forcast text in the main screen and in wd-live switches often from germany to english. in this case i can ticked any other languages but not german. this cases when the errors abuve occurs. in errorless times then the text displays german.
     
Update 02:00 p.m. MEZ:  Bevor 1 hour i have again tried the debug version: Now error, normal funktion to this moment. I know this is only meantime... but i don´t understand why. Only i exchange the .exe file...   

Update 05:00 p. m. MEZ: It works until 04:00 p. m. MEZ. Then the same errors happens... Same with 10.31f as 10.31c debug

the error line number does not seem to be match correctly, so i will upload a new debug version for you to try, 10.31f
the error line number is the same that others have too....

if the program status bar says 10.31c, then its still the old version....
did the installer says 10.31f debug?
are you sure your installing to the same location and running it from where you have installed it to?

i have downloaded again and installed and launched (Start) wd at the end of the installer. Status bar says 10.31c and debug says 10.31c.
Perhaps the downloadfile http://www.weather-display.com/downloads.php?file=beta.exe  is old: I see in the text called "Weather Display with error/crash debug code v10.31f debug". But have a look of the date of compilation: Version on 17 December 2005 - 01:45:41 => This is to old. Befor few hours you would new create the file for me this means it can not be 17. Dezember...
Something is wrong.
I have also attached a copy of the debug file also in my past post.
